William James Schumann, 80, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 31.

Schumann was an army veteran, a lifetime member of the 2207 Eagles Club and was involved in construction for several years, according to the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home.

He was a beloved husband and father whose optimism inspired many around him.

He’s survived by his sisters, Shirley and Marie; daughters, Sharon, Jordan and Cindy; daughter-in-law, Michelle, sister-in-law, Sue; nieces and nephews; and friends, Tim and Bill.

A gathering of family and friends will take place from 1 to 2 p.m. on Friday Feb. 3 in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, located at 1930 Front St. Following the memorial, family and friends will be welcomed at the Cuyahoga Falls Eagles Club.
