Where Are They Now?

Q&A with Cuyahoga Falls High School grad Tyler Nelson.

Name: Tyler Nelson

School: Cuyahoga Falls High School

Class: 2004

Occupation: Shipping & logistics, Pennsylvania Crusher

What was your career path leading up to your current job?

I worked in a few other shipping and receiving jobs. I left one for another because of a better opportunity.

What does your job entail, and what is your career goal?

I deal with all material shipping in or out of our location, and make sure orders are correct. I also deal with material handling and its flow through the shop, making sure it's where it needs to be when it needs to be there. I make sure none of it gets lost or misplaced.

What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment?

The purchase of our home.

What’s your favorite high school memory?

My auto technology class.

What advice would you give to future graduates?

Looking back I would’ve taken a few more minutes in class to get work done rather than putting it off until later. Get it done so you don't have to worry about it.
