What Do You Think About FirstEnergy Stadium?
The Cleveland Browns have sold the naming rights to their stadium. What do you think about the new name?
Cleveland Browns Stadium is no more. From now on fans will watch Cleveland football games at FirstEnergy Stadium.
On Tuesday afternoon owner Jimmy Haslem announced that Akron-based FirstEnergy Corporation was awarded the naming rights to the football stadium.
It is the first time in franchise history that the Browns stadium has a corporate name, joining the ranks of other NFL teams who have done the same, according to The Plain Dealer.
The regional newspaper reported that no details of the agreement between the two parties were disclosed.
What do you think of the new stadium name? What would you name it? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.

Cleveland (Browns) Stadium was no more when they took the old one down so the name won't make any difference. If naming rights get extra money for great players in the draft or free agency, then change the name and sell the name of the playing field too.

I believe that a public utility company that is not supposed to earn a profit, but break even, has no business paying millions of dollars to put its name on a football stadium when they are laying off employees and charging record high rates for electricity. The whole idea is absurd. First Energy should drop their rates instead of buying naming rights to football stadiums. This would serve their customers in a far better manner. I also believe that the Ohio Public Utilities Commision should stop being a rubber stamp for rate increases.

What a waste of stockholder's dividends! Time for this management to get their head out of the clouds and work for their owners rather than building monuments to themselves!
