Village Gardens Offers Free Thanksgiving Dinner

Village Gardens -- located at 2437 State Rd. -- will serve free Thanksgiving dinner to whomever walks through the door from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday. Over 100 people typically turn out for the annual event to enjoy turkey, sides and pumpkin pie, reports the Akron Beacon Journal. A donation jar will be on hand for those want to offer up a few dollars to the American Cancer Society.
