Traffic Update: Expect Delays on State Route 8 North Starting Wednesday, April 25

The plan originally called for construction to begin Monday, April 23, but the start date was pushed back due to inclement weather.

Get ready for road repairs while heading north on Hudson's stretch of State Route 8 over the next two weeks.

Beginning Wednesday, April 25, the high-speed artery will have various northbound lanes closed for pavement repair, said Hudson communications manager Jody Roberts.

The plan originally called for construction to begin Monday, April 23, but the start date was pushed back due to inclement weather, she said.

The closures will be 24 hours a day. At different periods, two lanes will be closed during daylight hours. Construction crews will be directing traffic.

The entrance ramp at Seasons Road will remain open, but traffic will be stop and go for about a week. Delays should be expected and alternate routes considered.

The repairs should be wrapped up by Wednesday, May 9, weather permitting.
