Toilet Paper Caper and Drive-By Purse Snatching: Falls Police Blotter

Why not to burglarize a vacant home

A property owner called Cuyahoga Falls Police on Oct. 8 after one of his vacant Northampton Road homes was burglarized. The burglar, most likely aware of the slim pickings, only came away with $300 in silverware and toilet paper. There are no suspects in this steak knife, Charmin caper.

Seen my TV?

A woman living in the 2200 block of High Street called police on Oct. 8 after someone swiped her 42-inch Vizio flat panel TV. Total loss: $700. Police have a suspect and the woman intends to prosecute.

Purse snatching

On Oct. 7, a motorist pulled up to a woman standing in the Studio City parking lot and asked for directions. As the woman approached the car, the driver snatched her purse and sped off. Total loss: $370.
