President Obama Stops in Downtown Akron Wednesday

President Barack Obama will make a stop in downtown Akron Wednesday on another tour through Ohio for the presidential campaign, according to the Plain Dealer.

Doors open at 1:30 p.m. at the John S. Knight Center, 77 E. Mill St., and Obama is expected to speak around 4 p.m.

Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis at three locations:

  • West Akron Obama for America, 1706 W. Market St., Akron
  • The John S. Knight Center box office
  • Twinsburg Field Office, 7995 Darrow Road, Twinsburg

On Obama's last swing through Ohio, he spoke in Parma and stayed over night at Fairlawn's Hilton Hotel.
