'The Seventh Barn' in Cuyahoga Falls Believed to Be One of Most Haunted Places Around

Have you heard of the legend of the 'Seven Barns' in the Falls?

We know it's not anywhere near Halloween, but when this Examiner.com article popped up online this week, we couldn't help but share the spooky news.

The article tells the tale of "The Seventh Barn," located at The Top O' The World, on 1285 Bath Road in Cuyahoga Falls.

The story on the website's "paranormal" section goes:

A killer farmer is believed to haunt the barn and the surrounding area near Top O' The World. The farmer, who had a massive head injury, allegedly went on a killing spree taking out his entire family and livestock with an ax. According to legend, he hung himself in the seventh barn.

The tale is also featured on DeadOhio.com, which features haunted places from around Northeast Ohio.

Myself and a few of my friends have all had experiences there over the years. Most of these were centered around the old abandoned house that use to be near the barn, but has since been demolished. Still a very spooky place. Go up there at night if you don't believe me. Forgive me for not remembering the names, but this is also where that sicko ex Canton cop dumped the body of his pregnant ex a few summers back. He left her barely 20 ft off the road near where the house use to be. I wonder what spooked him off?

Tim, you're right. Former Canton police officer, Bobby Cutts, Jr. dumped the body of Jesse Davis and her unborn daughter there. Authorities found the body on June 14, 2007. She was last seen at ACME, my family's grocery store. I believe it was the State Road location if I'm not mistaken.

Recently, on August 3, 2012, a woman named Susan parked her car near the barn and committed suicide in the park.

Cool comment from Kathleen McQuillan on Facebook: "used to go there all the time when I was a teenager...trying to see ghosts...scary ... I can't believe we walked around that barn at night....and the little boarded up house next to it."
