Tell Us: What Songs Do You Love to Hear at Football Games?

Whether the song is played over a loud speaker or by a marching band, Patch wants to know.

Inhale, exhale. Yep, it smells like fall, and with fall comes football.

People everywhere are flocking to football games, whether they be junior varsity, high school, college or professional. At all these games, some form of music is played — maybe over the loud speaker or by a marching band.

So Patch wants to know: What is your favorite song to hear at a football game? Is it the "Hey" song or maybe "Hang on Sloopy?" Tell us in the comments and on Friday, we'll post a Spotify playlist with all your favorite football tunes.

"Hell's Bells" by AC-DC is always played at football games when the opposing offense has third down. Overplayed, but still kind of cool.

I'm in the Mentor Marching Band and my section suggested Eye of the Tiger as a possible song to learn. So who knows, maybe you'll hear it soon.

I'd like to get up to Madison eventually to see the 4th quarter tradition of the students jumping to "Jump Around." Kent State (the band anyway) has a 4th quarter tradition of singing "In Heaven there is no beer."

BUT, if I want to hear Hang on Sloopy, I'll go down to a buckeye game.

As far as the "Hells Bells" it's only good if it played on EVERY third down when the opposing team has the ball.

When I was in high school marching band, my favorite song to play in the stands was "All I Wanna Do" by Sheryl Crow. It had a pretty sweet sax solo in it!
