Suspected Meth Cooks Arrested in Cuyahoga Falls

Four people arrested on Feb. 10 face several meth-related felony charges.

An early morning trip to the local Walgreen's ended badly for four people after they were seen purchasing items that can be used to produce methamphetamine.

On Feb. 10 at 12:43 a.m., an officer from the Cuyahoga Falls Police K-9 Unit pulled over two members of the group -- Cliff J. Cundiff, 29, of Akron, and Richelle L. Brown, 33, of Cuyahoga Falls -- as they left the State Road drug store.

The officer found methamphetamine, a glass pipe allegedly used to smoke the drug and "Wal-Phed," an over-the-counter medicine that can double as a meth ingredient, according to the Cuyahoga Falls police report.

Once the pair was in custody, police arrested the other two suspects -- Brandon T. Stewart, 30, of Kent, and Mark D. Veasey, 48, of Cuyahoga Falls -- who had left Walgreen's in a separate car.

Veasey and Stewart both lied about Stewart's identity when questioned by police, the report stated. Stewart was found in possession of a hypodermic needle and suspected meth ingredients.

Cundiff was charged with illegal assembly of drugs, a third-degree felony; possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony; and drug paraphernalia, a fourth-degree misdemeanor, according to stowmunicourt.com.

Brown was charged with illegal assembly of drugs, a third-degree felony.

Stewart was charged with illegal assembly of drugs, a third-degree felony; obstructing justice; a fifth-degree felony; unlawful purchase of pseudoepherdrine, a first-degree misdemeanor; possession of drug abuse instruments, a first-degree misdemeanor; and obstructing official business, a second-degree misdemeanor.

Veasey was charged with obstructing justice, a fifth-degree felony and obstructing official business, a second-degree misdemeanor.

Stewart and Cundiff are being held in Summit County Jail. Brown and Veasey were released on bond.

Stow Municipal Court dates are pending.

Another reason for the New Falls Initiative to be introduced. These people look like the Falls finest. Why can't we load them up with there meth until they walk this earth no longer?

Cuyahoga Falls....the new meth capital of the world. This city "USED to be a nice place to live- just like Akron- back in the 60's. What is it with all the druggies and drunks in Ohio? This state is the pit of despair.

Good! Get them off the streets, there's no place for mopes like that! They are good examples of what meth does to a person, as they look like zombies!
Anyone messing with meth or heroin needs tossed into a cell and have the keys thrown away. They know they are messing with dangerous items yet are too fricking stupid to not use them. People should have no empathy on people like this, they made the decision to get involved with these drugs and need held accountable!
