If Cuyahoga Falls residents are thinking about heading to Stow or Kent on Saturday night for a few drinks, they should be prepared to take a cab or ride with a designated driver.
From 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Oct. 27-28, a drunk driving checkpoint conducted by the Stow Police Department will be set up on Kent Road.
The exact location is 4163 Kent Rd. — the parking lot of the Mission Baptist Temple.
Thanks. We'll email you the next time we update this story.

Why are we giving drunk drivers an advantage by making the checkpoint location available??? Guess what, if you choose to be irresponsible and endanger others you deserve to get caught and pay the consequences!!!

I couldn't agree more, Kari. I've never understood why we give drunk drivers the heads up to take an alternate route.

Sometimes people get stopped at checkpoints for other things, because the opportunity is there for further scrutiny. Thanks for the warning. www.firebrandcentral.com
