Buy an island? Travel? So many decisions.
So what will you do with your $500 million?
Someone will win a record-setting Mega Millions jackpot -- if not on Friday, then an even bigger prize later.
It's easy to think of how you'd spend $1 million or so. But that much cash? Wow, so many decisions to make.

If I won I would buy as many houses in Lakewood as my heart desired. I would buy every house that came up for sale in my neighborhood. I would renovate each of those houses to the highest standards, pay to redo the streets and sidewalks, install more attractive street lights, buy about 10 cars :) and then find some other positive things I could do with the money.

It's hard to say what I would do if and when I win. First and foremost I would hire a personal financial planner. Set myself up with a good money management plan. Then, do whatever I feel like, when I feel like it! I would certainly give some to local charity! Make sure you buy your ticket from a local business. They get 1% of the pot if the winning ticket is purchased at their business!!!

What if are sometimes hard to definite! My family would be taken care of first and foremost. I would not give up by real estate license because I know after time off I would want something to do and I love my career. Items on my bucket list would be next. I would never fly economy class again when visiting family in Switzerland and nor would they when visiting here. There is a difference!! I hear you have to buy a ticket so I guess my what if's will have to wait.
