Retro Dog – a family owned and operated quick service restaurant – will open its doors to Cuyahoga Falls this weekend, and by the looks of it, the sleek drive-in joint won't have much trouble attracting customers.
The menu features deli-fresh hot dogs, battered onion rings, home-brewed root beer, homemade custard and more, wrote Retro Dog vice president Lisa Bruno in a prepared statement.
“We pride ourselves on providing the highest quality and freshest ingredients,” she said. "Come and dine in, drive in or walk up!"
Retro Dog, located at 350 E. Steels Corners Rd., will hold its grand opening this Sunday, June 17 at 11 a.m.

There are many dining options at Retro Dog. Customers have the option of eating in the retro/modern-inspired dining room where they can see right into the kitchen and watch the fresh food being prepared. For customers who’d rather stay in their car, Retro Dog has 18 spots available for Car Hop service, so you can enjoy Retro Dog in the comfort in your own car! Another unique aspect of Retro Dog is the outdoor custard window. You can walk right up and order any menu item you’d like, including frozen custard. Also, there are bar stools at the window, so you can enjoy your meal and watch the custard crew hard at work!
