Reckless Driver Loses Control, Slams Into Cuyahoga Falls Property
The 19-year-old motorist was cited for reckless operation.
A 3rd Street resident was speeding Thursday evening when he lost control of his 1998 Toyota Avalon and slammed it into a garage at the corner of 3rd and Tifft Street.
According to Cuyahoga Falls Police Lt. Dale Gramley, the 19-year-old driver crashed into the garage so hard that he knocked it off its foundation, damaging two parked cars inside it.
The homeowner called Bowers Consruction Company immediately following the accident to "shore up one of the walls of the garage to keep it from collapsing," said Gramley.
No injuries were reported.
The driver was cited for reckless operation.
This isn't the first time a car has crashed into a Cuyahoga Falls property this year.

This car drives at high speeds all the time on Tifft. He deserves a larger penalty.
