Power Outage Hits Cuyahoga Falls — Are Your Lights On?

So far, residents have reported power outages on Roanoke and Schubert Avenues and Bailey Road. Police say the cause and extent of the outage is not yet clear and that utility crews have been dispatched to fix the problem.

Many Falls residents are in the dark right now and are wondering who turned the lights (and the air conditioning) off.

Cuyahoga Falls police are not certain of the cause or extent of the damage, but they have received a few reports from community members.

Power is out on the 600-700 block of Roanoke Avenue and the 2500 block of Schubert Avenue, according to police.

A reader — who most likely used their phone to shoot an email — told Patch the lights have been out along Bailey Road since about 9 p.m.

Question is: Are your lights on?

Give your street and block number and let us know in the comments section of this post.

If your electricity is out, tell us what you're up to (besides lighting candles).
