UPDATE: Suicide Standoff on Van Buren Avenue
Little is known, but the Cuyahoga Falls police officers have cordoned off the 300 block of Van Buren Avenue.
Updated 4:43 p.m.
Many questions remain, but what's known is that Cuyahoga Falls police have surrounded a residence on the 300 block of Van Buren Avenue.
It appears a man, who has not yet been identified, is inside a residence talking to the police on a loudspeaker.
The man could be heard saying:
"Either you guys take me or I'll take myself."
"I personally stand up for all fathers. Judges, mayors, prosecutors ... promise us so much ... we are nothing to them."
"We're going to have a shoot off!"
"Only way I'm leaving my house is in a body bag!"
"[Summit County] Prosecutor Sherri Bevan Walsh is a piece of [expletive]!"
Police snipers are stationed across the street.
Officers on scene have not offered any further details, but information culled from police scanners indicates U.S. Marshals came to the man's residence to serve a warrant.
It appears the man's lawyer is on scene now.
Police are still trying to establish contact with the man. The man was heard saying around 4:45 p.m. that his "cell phone was turned back on and he was ready to communicate."
A young woman showed up to the street and screamed at police, "I want to talk to my [expletive] dad" several times.

The rescue squad and other emergency Fire Dept vehicles are at the little plaza on Oakwood standing by. We could hear them on the loudspeaker. There are many onlookers, it is not safe if a weapon is involved.

Yes, he got out fine. You have to understand this is all over him speaking his mind. So understand he checked with the Akron Police Department before he did anything. He did nothing more then protest against a Judge and this is what happens. Crazy this is his charge!

Zarle is being railroaded by the system of Summit County! The system is broken and someone needs to look into it. Please pay attention to this case. The Judge was never in fear for life. Was just mad someone stood up for once for their rights. Now he is being tried in the same county that he was threatened by two Deputy Sherriffs two days prior to being arrested for speaking his mind! This is not right and this Judge should be brought to justices for making false claims and using tax payers money to do so.
Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
Amendment VIII
Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.
I would say all of these Amendments have been broken by the Justice System in this case! A judge that is threaten by a megaphone and the freedom of speech all I can say is Wow! Then ensures the bail is set to where no normal person can get out. I don't know to many people with 500,000.00. Hold on its 10% which is 50,000.00 cash only and no bail bonds can be used. You tell me if his rights have not been violated?
