Police: Woman Charged After Killing Pets
The following was obtained from Cuyahoga Falls Police reports dated Dec. 7-9. It does not indicate a conviction.
Cruelty to animals
A 50-year-old Cuyahoga Falls woman was charged with cruelty to animals on Dec. 9 after allegedly suffocating her two cats, according to a Cuyahoga Falls Police report.
Officers initially responded to her Kennedy Boulevard residence after she called 9-1-1 and reported she was suicidal, said police Sgt. Michael Heinl. When officers arrived, they found the dead animals, which she admitted to killing.
The woman will be prosecuted on the misdemeanor charge in Stow Municipal Court.
Sticky fingers
A man strolled into Sam's Club on Dec. 6, picked up a $700 Samsung security system and left the store without paying for it.
It appears the unidentified thief opted for the 100-percent-off discount.

Regarding Sticky Fingers, they will find him, you can't get into Sam's club without being on 3 cameras and you have to show your card. I like the 100% discount comment. lol

sure, this was wrong, but there was a more of a problem there than the pets.
Why not help with her problem, rather them add to it with a court fine. Is the money more importent then the help she needed?

CKS:
There was so much more to the story than reported. Thankfully the woman in the story is now getting the help that she needs.

OK, John, I get it. But here's my position: I have zero tolerance when it comes to animal cruelty. There is no excuse, Period. Others may want to find sympathy for the abuser here. I simply will not.
