A party of five was busted while drinking wine coolers and smoking marijuana inside a motor home off State Road on Sunday night.

The suspicious “recreational” vehicle was parked behind the Red Fox Sports Pub & Grille and had caught the attention of an undercover team of Cuyahoga Falls police officers and Department of Liquor Control agents, according to police Lt. Dale Gramley.

Three women and two men were each given open container citations and one of the women was cited for possession of marijuana.

Gramley said police officers and liquor agents will occasionally dress In plain clothes and coordinate undercover arrests at area bars to curb drunk driving, underage drinking and drinking in public places.

Unwise drunk driver

On Monday night, a man was arrested on State Road for driving drunk. It didn’t help matters that his girlfriend’s 4-year-old daughter was one of the passengers. He was cited for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and child endangerment.
