Police Blotter: Thefts, Burglary

The following information was supplied by the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

Burglary

A resident of the 300 block of Jennings Avenue reported that someone entered her home and removed cash and jewelry from a lockbox between Sept. 11 and Nov. 7.

Telecommunication harassment

A resident of the 200 block of Washington Avenue reported receiving unwanted text messages between Oct. 29 and Nov. 1. He was referred to his cellphone provider.

Theft

• An Akron man told police that a known person took more than $800 from his pickup truck while the driver was fueling it at Sheetz, 1210 Main St., on Nov. 5.

• A resident of the 2800 block of Northland Street said a Stihl leaf blower and Stihl concrete saw had been taken out of the bed of his pickup truck the night of Nov. 3. Total loss was estimated at $1,400.

• A PSP game system was stolen from a car while it was parked at Marathon, 70 Graham Rd., at about 7:30 p.m. Nov. 5. Loss was estimated at $339.
