Monkey-Like Comedian Headlining at Funny Stop

Cuyahoga Falls Patch readers can grab free laughs at tonight's show!

Want to check out a comedian whose performances have been described as "a monkey with ADHD?" Cuyahoga Falls Patch readers can grab some free laughs tonight at Funny Stop Comedy Club, where the monkey-like Tim Kidd is headlining.

Kidd, a Louisville native, grew up playing local bands. On stage fronting for bands is where his comedic talent began to form, according to his bio on the Funny Stop website.

After only one time on a comedy club stage, the Kidd knew where he belonged (on a shrink's couch). Soon after, he quit his band to pursue his newfound comedy career.

While he has a style of jokes that some consider crude, with topics including stays at seedy hotels and other more mature topics, Kidd's rousing performances more than entertain the crowd, Funny Stop reports.

Kidd is headlining tonight through Saturday at Funny Stop, with shows set for 8:30 p.m. tonight and Thursday, and 8 and 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Folks (18 and over) from the Patch community can mosey on over to the local comedy club for a free 8:30 p.m. show every Wednesday through Aug. 15. When you arrive at the box office, just say you're a Cuyahoga Falls Patch reader, and voila, free admission.
