Man Dies From Injuries Sustained in Prange Drive Apartment Fire

His identity has not yet been released.

Cuyahoga Falls Fire Marshal Mike Dunton confirmed that a man who was died over the weekend.

His name has not yet been released, reports the Falls News Press.

The man was one of four who suffered burns and smoke inhalation when a fire broke out at 3339 Prange Drive early Friday morning.

Firefighters responded at 4:49 a.m. and found that a fire had spread to two units with heavy smoke in a third, according to a news release.

Three young girls were rescued along with the man and all were taken to local hospitals.

A 27-year-old Cuyahoga Falls woman was charged with three counts of child endangerment after police discovered she’d been working at the time of the fire and had left her two daughters and niece alone in one of the units.
