Man Claims to Have AIDS, Spits on Cuyahoga Falls Officer: Crime Blotter

A Monroe Falls man faces a felony count of "harassment by an inmate" after spitting on a police officer and telling the officer he has AIDS or HIV.
According to a Cuyahoga Falls police report, the 30-year-old man was charged with resisting arrest, a second-degree misdemeanor, and harassment by an inmate, a fifth-degree felony.
Police had pulled the man over under suspicion that he was driving under the influence.
And, according to the report, the man "punched, pushed and pit at the officers while resisting his lawful arrest" about 10:15 a.m. March 1.
