Kent Woman, 32, Found Dead at Cuyahoga Falls Hotel

responded to the at 8:44 p.m. Dec. 20 after receiving a call about “a female that had expired by an unknown means.”
Pronounced dead at the scene was Jamie L. Litchfield, 32, of 1171 W. Main St. in Kent.
Gary Guenther, chief investigator for the Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office, said an autopsy has been performed but a ruling on the death is pending toxicology results. There were no signs of trauma or foul play, he noted.

Police reported that a representative from the medical examiner’s office took charge of the scene. Medics from the also were at the hotel and called a doctor at Akron City Hospital to get a pronouncement of death at 8:58 p.m.
Police said Litchfield died sometime between 1:11 p.m. Dec. 19 and 8:30 p.m. Dec. 20.
