Alleged Serial Burglars Behind Bars; Falls Police Investigation Continues
Brian Conrecode and Nick Limric were arrested and charged with felony counts of burglary. Police say they can connect the pair to at least 12 burglaries in Cuyahoga Falls.

Two 26-year-old Falls residents were arrested over the last two weeks in connection with what police suspect was a string of burglaries committed in Cuyahoga Falls.
Brian Conrecode and Nick Limric were each charged with one count of burglary, a second-degree felony, and taken into custody.
“We feel that these individuals are responsible for at least a dozen burglaries,” wrote Falls police Lt. Steve Guldeman in a prepared statement. “We will be contacting the victims once we are able to confirm the burglary locations the individuals are responsible for.”
In a phone conversation with Patch on Wednesday, Guldeman said police were still investigating the pair to see just how many residences they burglarized and to determine whether any of the stolen property could be found and returned to the victims.
Conrecode was charged on June 4, while Limric was charged on June 2 after police caught him in the act of burglarizing a house on Lynn Drive.
The arrest was due, in large part, to an observant neighbor who called police after seeing Limric enter the household.
Both men are being held in Summit County Jail.

Sadly, most of the time with cases similar to this, the defendants will end up with a plea that will send them to drug rehab or a minimum sentence and while I do believe that rehabilitation is important, I think punishment must happen as well and a prison term is appropriate. Burglary is all too often forgiven by the courts, the problem is many people have been killed during burglaries either the person breaking in by the homeowner or the homeowners themselves by the person invading the house. I feel that this is a crime that needs a heavy punishment to send the message to the communities that a heavy punishment will result if crimes like this are committed.
It's such a lose-lose...These guys will have felonies on their records for the rest of their lives and will have a tough time gaining employment even if they become better citizens after this is all over, meaning that they may turn back to a life of crime.
I am just thankful that the Falls PD caught these guys. Hopefully, we can keep working on reducing our crime and improving the community.
