Gas Prices Are Dropping Again
Trouble in Europe, lower oil costs means cheaper gas for Cuyahoga Falls motorists.
You might have noticed that gas prices have been sliding downward lately in Cuyahoga Falls and elsewhere. After creeping up toward $4 a gallon and some experts predicting prices of $5 per gallon and higher, prices are ebbing.
The Associated Press reported that gas prices have dropped about 20 cents in the past couple of weeks and are expected to drop some more. The slowing global economy, especially in Europe, has reduced energy consumption which generally leads to lower prices.
According to GasBuddy.com, Ohio is averaging about $3.40 a gallon and trending downward.
