Four Arrested in Studio City Meth Lab Bust
Police have charged Kathy Dias, 50; Daniel Hammock, 26; Lisa Ramsey, 49; and Monica Moles, 24, with multiple felonies for running a meth lab out of a Cuyahoga Falls apartment.
Falls Police arrested four people Wednesday and hit them with a set of felony charges after officers found a methamphetamine lab they were running out of a Studio City apartment.
Kathy Dias, Daniel Hammock, Monica Moles and Lisa Ramsey were taken into custody and charged with illegal manufacturing of drugs, a first-degree felony; illegal assembly of drug components, a second-degree felony; possession of criminal tools, a fifth-degree felony; drug abuse, a fourth-degree felony; and endangering children, a third-degree felony.
According to a press release, a search warrant was gained and executed by the Cuyahoga Falls Narcotics Unit after receiving a tip about the drug operation at 2255 Winter Pkwy., Apt. 124.
The endangering children charge was added when police found that an 11-year-old was living at the apartment. The juvenile was handed over to children’s services.
A hazardous waste disposal team was called to the scene to safely dissassemble and remove the meth lab.
The residence has been declared a public health nuisance and the property owner will be required to bring the apartment back up to code.
The bust comes just three weeks after a report of two drug abusers who were using a Studio City apartment to cook meth. Read on to find out more.
