Falls Police Blotter: Propane, Video Game and Copper Thefts

The following was culled from Cuyahoga Falls police reports dated July 18-19. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

A Renovex employee reported seven full Blue Rhino 15-pound propane tanks were stolen between Wednesday night and Thursday morning from inside the locked storage unit beside the Speedway at 2026 Bailey Road. The total loss is valued at $384.93.

Metal theft

An employee for Falls Heating & Cooling reported between Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning someone chopped and pried the wood off the west side of a shed to create a 3 foot by 4 foot opening, whereby someone stole approximately $600 worth of copper piping. The thief also broke the back window of a truck and stole approximately $200 worth of piping. Total damage to the shed and truck window is estimated at $1,200.

No pay Playstation games

A Target security employee reports two men from Niles took 10 Playstation 3 games and walked out the front door without paying Tuesday evening. The total loss is valued at $549.90.
