Falls Man Identified Following Suicide Standoff

Brian Zarle, 40, of Cuyahoga Falls, was arrested Wednesday evening after threatening police and himself.

Brian Zarle, 40, of Cuyahoga Falls, has been identified as the man who embroiled himself in a suicide standoff with Falls police, according to the Akron Beacon Journal.

The newspaper reports that sheriff’s deputies and U.S. Marshals from the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrived at Zarle’s door in the 300 block of Van Buren Avenue at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday to serve a felony warrant for intimidating a Summit County judge.

The situation quickly unraveled when he refused to open the door and alluded to having weapons.

Police cordoned off the neighborhood, called in their SWAT team and began negotiating with Zarle.

During that time, Zarle could be heard through a bullhorn saying:

"Either you guys take me or I'll take myself."

"Only way I'm leaving my house is in a body bag!"

"[Summit County] Prosecutor Sherri Bevan Walsh is a piece of [expletive]!"

After two hours of negotiation, he peacefully surrendered and was taken into custody.

The judge Zarle threatened has not been identified.

He’s set to appear in Akron Municipal Court Thursday for a bond hearing.

Thats because he never threatened any Judge. Well hold on, if you call sitting in front of the court house protesting about a Judge that changing Divorce papers with out either parties knowing. Then yes he did something wrong. Its funny how it doesn't talk about either dupty sherriff that threatened him and told him he was not aloud back in the public court house or in front of child support two days before.

You seem to be very clueless.
It doesn't say threatening a judge. It says intimidating a judge.
Big difference. You should learn how to read.

their completely twisting this whole ordeal into something its not..... i was there and ive been there for a good majority of all this! it was not about suicide.. it was about how the judges think that they are allowed to go and change peoples paper work to their liking behind their back. it was about how the judges and other government officials pick and choose who their going to help... and how people are not treated equally...it was about threatening voice mails that were left on his answering machine from judges.... what these reporters are not saying is that all he did to "INTIMIDATE" this judge was sat in his vehical out side of the court house with a mega phone and played the message through the mega phone for all the people to hear.... so the judge then told him she would find a way to put him in jail for a very long time.... next thing i know his house is surrounded by police!

The issue with the judges may have been what caused the suicide threats, but if there weren't guns and a threat of suicide, the cops wouldn't have done anything more than taken him into custody on the warrants.

Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

Amendment VIII

Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

I would say all of these Amendments have been broken by the Justice System in this case! A judge that is threaten by a megaphone and the freedom of speech all I can say is Wow! Then ensures the bail is set to where no normal person can get out. I don't know to many people with 500,000.00. Hold on its 10% which is 50,000.00 cash only and no bail bonds can be used. You tell me if his rights have not been violated?

CUYAHOGA FALLS MAN ARRESETED ON WED JULY,11,2012 FOR ALLEGEDLY INTIMDATING A JUDGE this is his side of the story please copy and paste lets help get the word out thank u
My name is Brian Zarle and this is my Story

Life has always been very hard on me. I was a father at the age of 17. From that day forward the courts have beaten me up with paper work. Not one day of my children’s lives have been missed out on, the struggles I have went through to be a single father have gave me a special gift. That gift is priceless its a word and its called dad. I love it when my kids, all four of them call me dad and they all think I am a great one. My children have different mothers first Brittany Wilson 22 years old and Jeremiah Zarle 8 years old their mother is Deanna Smith, 3rd child Marina 13 and Jetta Zarle 8 mother Kara Zarle. Kara is a great mother. However Deanna Smith will have nothing to do with our kids. Brittany is old enough to help herself but my son Jeremiah needs his daddy I’m all he has. So you must wonder how this drama recently got me into the spot I am in.. Jail. Ok starting in 2000 my daughters records were transferred from Juvenal Court to Summit County Clerk of Courts. Not having money I have had to do my best for 12 years being my own attorney. At times the courts power has been very overwhelming for me. Its been like David vs. Goliath.

. A particular judge has made my life very difficult for ten years and I don’t know why. I am the best father around. I do everything I can such as buy them everything they need for school ,clothes, take them camping, if they want to do sports I pay for that, cheer them on, help my 22 year old daughter out when she needs help with my grandchildren, I am always there for them when they need a shoulder to cry on I try to help them out and do everything I can for them as a single father. I’m a real father with much love. Check the dockets at Summit County if your interested the first docket is a 2008--- Deanna Wilson vs. Brian Zarle. The 2nd 2010--- Brian Zarle vs. Kara Zarle and sit back and read them from start to finish I think you would see the abuse I have taken. In the second week of July 2012 I have felt the courts have over powered the constitution. I called the Akron Ohio’s Mayors office to see how to gain a permit to hold a protest, the Mayors office put Captain Zampelli the Captain of Akron police department on the phone and after we spoke for about half n hour the Captain told me no permits were needed I could really use any sidewalk or street that I wanted to. So the next day my son

and I went to radio shack and bought a mega phone and a tape recorder. I recorded messages from Martin Luther King, Borac Obama and myself and traveled through different parts of Akron playing my message, never once did I threaten anybody. At one point of my protest in down town Akron somebody called the Akron police department to make a noise report. The Captain of Akron police stopped at where I was and chatted with me and then left. Later that day my son and myself stopped by the Clerk of Courts Domestic Relations because we received a phone call from a lady named Jonie. When we got to the courts we were immediately stopped at the metal detectors, the Sheriff asked us to wait to be escorted to the fourth floor. After being on the fourth floor two more Deputies came in our area and started chatting until my paperwork was ready. My son and I went to leave the fourth floor and I was stopped by a female Lutenant, she asked me to step into a closed room with her, when the door shut the female officer started to threaten me. Told me they were going to get me. Stay tuned the best is yet to come. It is hard to write or move around in a cage … Brian Zarle Justice For All…..
