Cuyahoga Falls Man Faces Felony Charges After Vicious Road Rage Incident
Christopher L. Schneider, 22, of Cuyahoga Falls, was arrested after allegedly committing a series of violent acts early Sunday morning.
A Cuyahoga Falls man was arrested this weekend after going berserk in Stark County, reports cantonrep.com.
According to Lawrence Township Police, Christopher L. Schneider, 22, was driving on State Route 93 when he rear-ended a woman's car.
He then drove left of center, rammed the woman off the road, jumped out of his car and began pounding on her hood.
He allegedly threatened the woman, saying he had a gun. He ran off, but soon returned and continued to smash his fists into the front of her car, witnesses reported.
Schneider fled again, but was arrested soon after on State Route 93 and Spring Grove Avenue.
While Lawrence Township officers booked him at the Canal Fulton Police Department, he reportedly thrashed and spit on them.
Schneider was "charged with felonious assault, harassment by an inmate, assault, and menacing by stalking, all felonies; as well as misdemeanor charges of aggravated menacing and criminal damaging," according to the Canton newspaper.
He was taken to Mercy Hospital and is now in custody at Stark County Jail.
