Ed Fisher he is actually a really nice person that made a mistake by getting too drunk. This is very unlike him.

OK, now I get it. But the article says nothing about DUI in the charges. Doesn't give any indication that alcohol was involved at all. Which supports my previous assessment. And I don't care how "loving and laid back" you think he is. He ran a woman off the road and threatened her. Told her he was going to get a gun. If he "acted out" like that towards someone with a firearm, he could have become the other victim. Capeesh ?

The rage displayed by this individual didn't just come out of no where. Rage happens when a person buries it. It doesn't mean the person isn't nice and considerate...it means the person has not taken care of their issues appropriately and risks the issues coming out inappropriately such as happened. He is responsible for his decisions regarding driving drunk and also avoiding dealing with the rage before it could come out like this and harm someone...including himself. I might add that a good friend would make sure a person that is too drunk gets a ride home or to a safe place to stay. If bars and restaurants have to be liable for allowing a person to drive drunk, shouldn't persons in private homes who allow a drunk person to drive bear some responsibility? I am sure this woman's family and friends want to rectify this wrong.

I know Chris as well. Let me start by saying that I dont believe what he did is excusable or that he shouldn't be punished. It was a dangerous, stupid act. He was indeed very drunk when this happened. It's very odd that the officers did not put that in the charges. Possibly because they want it to seem as rthough he was a road rage having psycho. Im sorry Linda, but he is a great person. This kid goes to school and works with the mentally disabled. I have known him for many years. Please dont judge or assume anything, especially when you dont know the person and you are just reading a news article. One night of too much alcohol has ruined this young mans life. Like none of us have ever made bad decisions. Granted, nothing this bad may not have happened to us, but trust me, it could. What if it was your 22 year old son? Would you still be saying he has "issues". Also, Jimmy, I know Alicia as well. She is far fron stupid. She has a young baby to think about. Again, her decision wasnt the best, but I would of and have made people leave my home when they were too drunk to calm down and would not listen to reason. Sometimes its the only option. So, again, before you start the name calling and assuming, you need to put yourself in others shoes. I feel sorry for the woman he frightened. From what I uderstand, she was not hurt, only shook up. Its a sad thing that so many have lost lives, careers, family, etc. to alcohol yet its still legal.

Vickie, you feel sorry for the woman he "frightened?" That's putting a rather soft edge on it, considering that from the details in this story (if true) the man is lucky not to be charged with attempted vehicular homicide. If nothing else this was a great recipe for getting himself shot.
