Patch and the Funny Stop Comedy Club are giving readers something to smile about.

Every Wednesday, folks (18 and over) from the Patch community may mosey on over to the local comedy club for a free 8:30 p.m. show.

When you arrive at the box office, just say you're a Cuyahoga Falls Patch reader, and voila, free admission.

Tonight's show will feature comedian Chad Zumock of the Alan Cox Show.

The former 2.4 GPA Kent State college graduate aims to captivate audiences with his brutal honesty and quick-slacker wit. His likeability and always-candid appraisal of the tattered ruin of his life is what connects him with all kinds of audiences, according to funnystop.com

Zumock's comedic highlights include: appearances in numerous commercials, time as a regular on Spike TV's "The Playbook", as well as live appearances from the Muni Lot prior to Cleveland Browns home games during WOIO-TV 19's "Tailgate 19"

To get a sample of his standup, check out the youtube video above.

Editor's note: Due to a last-minute scheduling change, comedian Joe Howard will headline on Sept. 19 instead of Chad Zumock. The Funny Stop hasn't yet been able to update its website to reflect the change.
