Cuyahoga Falls Democrat Paul Colavecchio will advance to the November general election to challenge incumbent Republican Anthony DeVitis for his Ohio House District 36 seat.
Colavecchio maintained a strong lead over fellow Democrat Jason Cowling of Clinton in Tuesday's primary race to determine who would appear on the November ballot.
These are the unofficial results from the Summit County Board of Elections with all 113 precincts counted:
